A lovely family-run business. Always a pleasure to visit not just because the plants are amazing but for the friendly atmosphere and personal service. My hanging basket this year was amazing all with the plants bought from Old Milestone Garden Nursery.

One of the best garden nurseries in the for top quality bedding plants at good prices. A great variety and some real bargains. I have always found the staff helpful and knowledgeable. The plants I buy here have a long life of annuals and the perennials are top quality. Recommended.

Great plants, great prices, great service, everything is produced on-site & is of exceptional quality, a good traditional garden nursery not claiming to be something it isn’t!!! The vitax multi-purpose compost is the best quality & price for miles!!! Even in July, there’s still a great choice of summer bedding to plug those annoying gaps!!! Well done Karen & Kate!

I don’t normally do reviews but thought I would praise where needed. I know nothing about plants, I had a large flower bed that needed filling. I popped in here on my way past work early last year to grab something to fill it up. The lady was so amazing and knowledgeable and asked if the area was in sun or shade etc and which plants would be best suited. I have therefore only used this nursery for my flower/plant needs since and every time they are all so welcoming small family business- highly recommend! Thank you

Friendly, family-run, independent garden nursery. Most plants are grown on-site. Beautiful annual hanging baskets and containers which lasted in my garden from April to November! Excellent for bedding and seasonal plants, but not a garden centre, so don’t expect a restaurant or play area. This is for gardeners, not families. Get there early, because it’s very popular and there’s not a lot of parking.

One of the best local nurseries I prefer going here to garden centres. Very polite to me and my father who now thoroughly looks forward to visiting each time we need things each season. Best dark red geraniums I’ve found and the fuchsias were spotless and P&D free.

A wonderfully family-run garden nursery with a huge range of plants including hanging baskets. Very reasonable prices. I only went for a few plants, and ended up with a trolley full! Well worth a visit. Definite 1st class recommendation
